Photo back-up strategies and unexpected encounters.
Following an unintentional break, I'm back with a roundup of what I've been up to and what lay ahead including a recent tour to Umbria and an upcoming research trip to Finland for wolves and bears! I discuss my strategy for backing up photos, and during the recording, experience two wonderful encounters.

I totally get the excitement of seeing White Admirals! I used to see them in the Blean at Rough Common - along paths and glades - sometimes several at a time. I’ve not been back there this year as I’m spending time exploring my area having moved to Westbere. Late Spring and into summer was cuckoo time - every day upon opening my garden doors I would hear cuckoos calling from around the lake and along the Stour. They’ve departed now, but dragonflies and demoiselles are abundant!
